[Funding alert] Content Creator Platform HYPD Secures $4 M From Orios Ventures, Others

Orios Venture Partners invested USD 4 million in HYPD as part of a pre-series A funding round. HYPD is a technology platform that allows content creators to drive commerce.

The previous investors Sauce VC and Better Capital increased their investment in the financing round. With the current funding, HYPD is expanding into more categories, hiring more creators, and strengthening its team and product, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

Ashwarya Garg, Cofounder, Hypd said “We are living in a time and age where the sum product of our consumer persona and buying behaviour, is directly influenced by the content we watch.”

Garg emphasises the fact that there has been an explosion of creators using the strength of their own internet communities on a global scale. In this decade, creators will be directly responsible for driving 30- 40% of all e-commerce by utilising their own distribution.
