Workruit, a B2B and B2C-focused AI-powered career and recruiting platform, has secured more than $500,000 in a pre-Series A round-headed by the US-based family office of Kantamaneni.
According to a statement, Workruit will use the capital to develop the product, grow its business, and concentrate on customer acquisition, as per reported by Entrepreneur.com.

According to Workruit, over 1 million resumes have been created (the majority by Indian job searchers), 2.5 million people have signed up for jobs on the site, and 2500 employers, including Just Dial, BYJUs, HDFC, Fortune Group, Reliance Group, Amazon, Asian Paints, etc. Along with the Telangana state government, the business also manages the DEET platform, which stands for Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana.
