Gupshup Appoints Lorrie Norrington to its Board of Directors

Gupshup, the conversational engagement platform, has appointed Lorrie Norrington, an experienced IT professional, to its board of directors.

Norrington, with more than forty years of expertise in expanding worldwide technology and internet enterprises, has occupied various executive positions at the e-commerce corporation eBay. In addition, she has also collaborated with Intuit and General Electric Company.

Presently, Norrington has positions on the governing bodies of the worldwide conglomerate Colgate-Palmolive, as well as the software-as-a-service (SaaS) corporations HubSpot and Asana.

Gupshup enables businesses to engage with customers via AI-driven chatbots and messaging platforms. The company provides services to more than 45,000 worldwide brands, such as Citibank, AkzoNobel, Khan Academy, Unilever, Dream11, Netflix, Flipkart, and Ola.

The company has had substantial financial development, as evidenced by its India operations reporting a 43% increase in revenue to INR 1,619 Cr in FY23, accompanied by a profit of INR 49 Cr.
