Garuda Aerospace Secures 400 Agri Kisan Drone Orders From IFFCO

Garuda Aerospace, a producer of drones, announced on Tuesday that Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has placed an order for 400 Agri Kisan Drones. Within the initial three months of this year, this brings Garuda Aerospace's booking total to 10,000 drones, the company stated in an announcement.

"The collaboration between Garuda Aerospace and IFFCO aims to revolutionise the agricultural sector by introducing the Garuda Kisan Drone at the 'IFFCO Drone Yatra' in Karnataka. These state-of-the-art drones will enable farmers to utilise Nano Urea spraying through Precision Agriculture Drones, maximising their efficiency and productivity," it said.

The statement claims that IFFCO has begun a statewide push to acquire 2,500 "Kisan Drones" as spraying options for its Micro Urea and Micro DAP products. This programme helps the training of almost 5,000 rural businesses in drone spraying while also advancing organic farming and all-inclusive cooperative growth, according to the statement, as reported by The Economic Times.
