D2C startup NATUREPRO has raised Rs 50 lakh in its seed round led by angel investors including Srikumar Misra and Rashima Misra, Co-founders of Milk Mantra, and Srinivas Baratam, MD of Stakeboat Capital.
The money will be used to increase production capacity, diversify into new markets, extend the line of products, and invest in innovation to improve the customer experience, according to a statement from the company.
Founded in 2021 by Mohit Mohapatra, NATUREPRO is committed to bringing ‘sustainability in beauty’.

“With the fundraise we plan to grow our presence across e-commerce marketplaces and retail stores as well with an omni-channel approach and increase our SKUs by 100% over the next few months to address various skin and hair problems faced by consumers. With the belief that sustainability is the only future and what we do now matters, we have plans to implant sustainability throughout our supply chain, manufacturing, packaging and logistics," said Mohit Mohapatra, Founder of NATUREPRO.
Founded in 2021 with the optimism that the beauty and personal care industry requires an uprising with respect to safety, transparency and sustainability. In India, a lot of brands make incorrect claims due to the lack of stringent rules and regulations in the beauty and personal care industry.
