WeVOIS, a waste management startup, has raised Rs 36 crore ($4.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by Negen Capital and Vyom Wealth (Polycab family office).
The funding round also saw participation from Venture Catalysts, SN Capital, Warmup Ventures, Marsshot Ventures (Razorpay Founders’ Fund), and other notable angel investors.
WeVOIS plans to use the fresh funds to grow its operations, form new partnerships and drive innovation across the country.
By using advanced technology and focusing on sustainability, WeVOIS aims to bring change to the industry and tackle india’s waste management issues.
The funding is also a major step toward setting global standards in waste management, helping create a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future, according to the company.

Abhinav Vashistha, Co-founder and CTO of WeVOIS, said, "We will use this funding to establish a state-of-the-art centre of excellence for advanced waste processing, a first-of-its-kind facility in India. Our prototypes are ready for commercialisation, allowing us to reduce waste and its environmental impact drastically. This is a vital step toward positioning India as a global pioneer in waste management technologies."

Founded by Abhishek Gupta and Abhinav Shekhar Vashistha, Jaipur-based WeVOIS is setting up textile waste recycling plants and bio-CNG facilities to turn wet waste into clean energy, showcasing innovation in sustainable waste management.
The startup uses an IoT-based mobile app to help sanitation staff follow optimized routes, making sure all waste is collected without missing any stops. The app also tells citizens about collection schedules and lets them track collection vehicles in real time.
