Terractive has Secured Rs 8 crore in Pre-Series A Round Funding

Mumbai-based activewear brand Terractive has raised Rs 8 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, led by Fireside Ventures and DeVC (Matrix Partners). The funding will be used to speed up fabric development and improve product innovation.

Founded in 2023 by Raena and Rahee Ambani-Choksi, Terractive combines advanced fabric technology with comfort. The brand’s key fabrics, like TerraSoft (which feels like cotton and resists odor) and CoolKnit (designed for a cooling effect and a premium look), highlight its focus on both performance and style. Terractive aims to become the top choice for high-quality, everyday wear.

Terractive’s popular products include the TerraSoft Cuddle Tees, 365 Men’s Shorts, and Activity Skorts. These items combine soft, cotton-like fabrics with anti-microbial and anti-odor features, catering to consumers looking for high-quality, versatile lifestyle wear.

Market research shows that India’s fashion and apparel market is expected to reach $105.50 billion in 2024 and grow by 3.35% each year until 2029.

Terractive aims to create unique fabric blends focused on comfort during everyday movement. For example, their popular Cool Knit fabric feels like premium cotton but also has a cooling effect, while being anti-microbial, anti-odor, and sweat-patch-free. The brand also claims that over 25,000 customers have bought their Cuddle Tee range.
