Mahanagar Gas Limited Partners with Nawgati

Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), a City Gas Distribution company in India, has given a work order to Nawgati, a fuel aggregator startup featured on Shark Tank India, to manage a fleet program. The program aims to promote the use of CNG during the MGL CNG Mahotsav 2.0.

Partnership Benifit

Through this partnership, Nawgati will handle the fleet program, helping grow and sustain the CNG network in Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad districts for the long term.

MGL’s CNG Mahotsav will offer great incentives to fleet operators who buy new commercial CNG vehicles or convert their existing vehicles to CNG.

The program encourages owners to switch from petrol and diesel to CNG, which is a cleaner and more eco-friendly fuel. The rewards will depend on the type and size of the commercial vehicles.

Through this partnership, Nawgati has provided a digital platform that makes it easy for fleet operators to pay for refueling at participating MGL stations and manage their fleets.

Fleet operators can register on the MGL Fleet Platform, where they can create accounts, add vehicles and drivers, and manage refueling at MGL CNG stations. MGL and Nawgati provide a two-way payment option for fleet operators using the MGL Fuel Card, which can be used in person or online.

Fleet operators can pay for refueling by tapping the physical card at POS machines or using the MGL Connect app/Nawgati Fuelling app. These fuel cards can be used at MGL CNG stations in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and some BEST bus depots in Ghatkopar and Goregaon.
