SuperBryn raises $1.2 million in pre-seed round led by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO

Voice AI startup SuperBryn has raised $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO initiative. 

The round also saw participation from angel investors including easemytrip co-founder Rikant Pitti, Docket AI founder Arjun Pillai, Sanas AI founder Sharath Narayanan, BMH Group CEO Harish Manian, and actor Nivin Pauly.

The startup will use the new funds to speed up product development, hire more engineers, and work more closely with early business customers in different industries.

“Voice agents fail silently. An enterprise might have a million conversations a month, but they have no idea which ones went wrong, why the agent fumbled, or how to fix it without manually reviewing thousands of calls. We're building the layer that surfaces what's breaking, why it's breaking, and automatically makes the agent better, without human intervention. Monitoring and Evals is non-negotiable in industries like healthcare, finance, and insurance, where one failed conversation can mean a missed diagnosis, a compliance violation, or a claim that never gets processed,” says Nikkitha Shanker, Co-founder of SuperBryn. 

“After 14 years in speech and voice AI research, I’ve seen why voice agents fail in the wild. Most platforms test only for narrow conditions, not for the messy reality of human speech,“ said cofounder Neethu Mariam Joy.

Jayraj Bharat Patel, AVP, Kalaari Capital, said that voice AI is at an inflection point and enterprises are moving from experimentation to scaled deployment. "SuperBryn will fill a critical missing layer with independent evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.”

About SuperBryn 

Founded less than a year ago by Nikkitha Shanker and Neethu Mariam Joy, Bengaluru-based SuperBryn aims to become an independent watchdog for enterprise AI agents, making sure voice AI systems are monitored, compliant, and as reliable as today’s cloud infrastructure.

The company says its platform helps businesses go from testing to full rollout more quickly by making voice AI more reliable and reducing failures in real-world use.

SuperBryn is now targeting global customers, especially in the US. It was recently chosen for Nasscom’s InnoTrek USA 2025 and the Mphasis Sparkle Innovation Program, which will help it connect with US enterprise clients.
