Speech Therapy Startup Iyaso Raises $500k Pre-Seed Funding

Speech therapy Startup Iyaso has raised $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by Malpani Ventures with additional support from several angel investors.

The funds will be used to create new AI-powered digital therapies that change the way speech and communication issues are treated globally.

About Iyaso 

Founded in 2023 by Viraj Kulkarni, Iyaso offers an AI-driven platform focused on speech therapy, helping users overcome stuttering. The platform provides a guided program to improve fluency and boost confidence in speaking. 

Research shows over 400 million people worldwide face speech and language disorders, impacting their academics, careers and social lives.

Iyaso aims to make speech therapy more effective, engaging and accessible using AI.

Iyaso's first product, Eloquent for Stuttering, has been used by more than 20,000 people in over 150 countries since its launch in July 2024. 

Eloquent uses AI-driven exercises and practice simulations to help users improve fluency and confidence. Early studies show a 53% reduction in stuttering severity and a 34% boost in communication confidence, with over 75% of participants moving to a lower severity category.
