Spacetech startup Omspace will use the new funds to build its modular launch vehicle, Infinity One, designed for sending satellites into low Earth orbit.

Spacetech startup Omspace raises $3 Mn in pre-seed round

Omspace Rocket & Exploration Private Limited, an Indian space-tech startup has raised $3 Mn (around Rs 26 Cr) in a pre-seed funding round led by a host of undisclosed family offices and angel investors. 

The startup will use the new funds to build its modular launch vehicle, Infinity One, designed for sending satellites into low Earth orbit.

“This funding is a major milestone in our mission to democratise access to space from India. We are deeply thankful to CrAdLE and EDII for believing in our vision and enabling us with the resources, mentorship, and environment to take bold leaps, " said Dr Mistry, Co-Founder of Omspace.

About OmSpace 

Founded in 2020 by Ravindra Raj Binod Mistri, Maulik Mota and Stutika Padamshali, the Ahmedabad-based OmSpace Rocket and Exploration is currently developing Infinity One, a modular launch vehicle that can carry up to 350 kg to an altitude of 800 km.

Designed to be cost-effective and reusable, Infinity One aims to make space access more affordable for satellite missions.

OmSpace was incubated at CrAdLE, the business incubator at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), and was also selected for the AWS Spacetech Accelerator, receiving a $100K grant as part of the program.
