Scandalous Foods, a B2B Indian sweets brand, has raised Rs 2 crore in an ongoing seed funding round led by New Age India Fund.
It’s currently reviewing three more funding offers from other investors and a family office.
The fresh funds will help the company increase its production capacity and grow its distribution network for small and mid-sized hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses (SME HoReCa).
Earlier in February 2024, the startup raised Rs 3 crore in a pre-seed round from Indian Angel Network and others.

With bigger production, a stronger distribution network, and new products in the pipeline, we’re gearing up to bring our bold, delicious creations to even more people,” said Sanket S, co-founder of Scandalous Foods.
About Scandalous Foods
Founded in August 2022 by Sanket S, the Nashik-based Scandalous Foods creates preservative-free, single-serve Indian sweets with a 6-month shelf life, focusing on quality and innovation. While currently B2B, the brand plans to expand into B2B2C and B2C segments.
The startup works with cloud kitchens and is preparing to launch mithai bars and sachets for guilt-free snacking. It has grown 7x in 2024, selling over 2 million sweet cups in nine cities, reaching nearly 1 million unique consumers through 27 B2B clients and 1,500+ distribution points.
Looking ahead, Scandalous Foods will introduce 2–3 new products and expand into new channels within its current markets, shifting focus from just large HoReCa accounts to also include SME HoReCa and caterers.
