Redacto raises Rs 12 Cr in seed round led by PeerCapital

Redacto, an AI-driven privacy infrastructure company,  has raised Rs 120 million in a seed funding round led by PeerCapital and Antler India.

The funding will be used to strengthen Redacto’s AI capabilities, grow its product and engineering teams, and boost enterprise adoption across India.

Founded in 2025 by Shashank Karincheti and Amit Kumar, Redacto offers an AI-powered data privacy and governance platform for enterprises, helping them automate compliance, manage sensitive data, and monitor third-party data use.

The company currently works with payment firms and NBFCs and is in talks with banks, fintechs, and insurance companies preparing for compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

The company competes with Indian and global privacy-tech and data governance platforms such as SecurWeave, Privado, TrustCheckr, Scrut Automation, Luciditi, and Seclore, which provide similar solutions for data security, privacy, and compliance automation.
