Petpooja raises Rs 137 crore in Series C round led by Dharana Capital

Indian restaurant tech platform Petpooja has raised Rs 137 crore ($15.5 million) in its Series C funding round led by Dharana Capital.

The round also saw participation from Ashish Gupta, co-founder of Helion Ventures; Abhiraj Singh Bhal, Varun Khaitan, co-founders of Urban Company.

The startup will use the funds to expand its product portfolio, speed up AI-driven automation, and strengthen customer support.

Founded in 2011 by Parthiv and Apurv Patel, the Ahmedabad-based Petpooja pivoted into a SaaS platform providing cloud-based billing and management software for SMB food services.

It now serves 1,00,000+ clients across India, the UAE, and South Africa, handling about 25% of Zomato and Swiggy’s online orders.

To date, the company has raised around ₹185 crore, including a $4.5 million Series B led by Aroa Ventures in 2021.
