Orange Health Labs has Secured $12 Million in Funding

Orange Health Labs, a healthcare and diagnostics platform, has raised $12 million in a funding round led by Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund. Other investors, including Accel, General Catalyst, Bertelsmann India Investments, and Y Combinator, also took part.

In June 2022, Orange Health raised $25 million in its Series B round, led by General Catalyst and Bertelsmann India Investments. Three months later, the company launched its first employee stock option plan and an equity buyback program worth $1 million. So far, the company has raised a total of $47 million.

Funding Utilisation

The new funding will be used to expand products, grow the team, and boost innovation in diagnostics. Founded in December 2020 by Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra, Orange Health is an on-demand diagnostic service offering at-home sample collection in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad.

So far, it has provided diagnostic services to over 1 million customers. The company currently operates six labs and works with over 1,000 clinics.

Orange Health has achieved 3x growth over the past two years and is on track to double its growth this year. The company has also recently reached an annual revenue of Rs 100 crore and is profitable in Bengaluru.

In April 2021, Amazon launched the $250 million Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund to support Indian startups and made its first investment in M1xchange, a fintech startup focused on MSMEs. The fund has also invested in companies like The Good Glamm Group, Cashify, Fitterfly, and Smallcase.
