Nutrition Brand Good Monk Raises $2Mn Funding Led By RPSG Capital

The startup will use the new funds for research, product testing and making sure the right nutrients are used, it said in a statement. It also aims to expand its presence in the Indian market.

Nutrition Brand Good Monk Raises $2Mn Funding Led By RPSG Capital

Good Monk, a nutrition brand from Superfoods Valley, has raised $2 million in pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures & ThinKuvate.

The startup will use the new funds for research, product testing and making sure the right nutrients are used, it said in a statement. It also aims to expand its presence in the Indian market.

Good Monk earlier raised $841K from Multiply Ventures and other investors. It was recently featured on Shark Tank Season 4, where it secured a deal from Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics.

Sahiba Kaur, co-founder of Good Monk, said, "The partnership with RPSG Venture Capital will help us facilitate R&D and innovation to help us expand our product portfolio and help consumers with better nutritional alternatives."

"With a differentiated proposition, we are confident that the consumers will resonate with our offerings and add us to their nutritional journey," added Amarpreet Singh Anand, Co-founder of Good Monk.

Founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, the Bengaluru-based Good Monk offers a variety of health products, including multivitamins, probiotics, fiber supplements and over 50 nutrition mixes for kids, adults and seniors. 

The brand focuses on making nutrition simple and accessible through e-commerce, with products backed by clinical research.

The startup promotes transparency and community involvement, and donates part of its sales to mid-day meal programs for underprivileged groups.

Good Monk sells its products on its own website and platforms like Amazon and flipkart. It’s expanding its digital reach and claims to have grown 11 times in the past year, building a strong customer base.
