Shark Tank India-featured Earthful, one of the leading plant-based nutrition brands, has raised Rs 5 crore in a funding round a seasoned entrepreneur Srinivasan Namala.

Ritesh Agarwal, founder of OYO Rooms, will also join after his investment commitment on Shark Tank India Season 4, according to the company's statement.

The startup has raised more than $1 million in funding so far, including the current investment.

The startup will use the funds to develop new products and boost its brand presence. It is also focused on building a strong leadership team in marketing and operations to drive its next growth phase.

"This funding will help us bring Earthful’s clean, effective nutrition to more households across India. We believe wellness should be simple and transparent and never compromise on purity or taste. The loyalty of our repeat customers speaks volumes about their trust in our brand and products," said Veda Gogineni, Co-founder of Earthful.

Srinivasan Namala, Founder, Porus Labs stated, “I believe that over the next 5-7 years, the nutraceutical market in India will experience significant growth, driven by a rising number of health-conscious Indians. Earthful, with its strong brand values and commitment to clean, plant-based nutrition, is well positioned to capitalize on this opportunity.”

About Earthful 

Co-founded in 2020 by Veda Gogineni and Sai Sudha G., the Hyderabad-based Earthful is a clean, plant-based nutrition brand offering 100% natural supplements without chemicals or additives. 

The company focuses on science-backed products, including multivitamins to address daily nutrition gaps for all ages, as well as targeted solutions for Skin, Hair, Sleep, and PCOS. Their product range includes plant-based proteins and a natural, junk-free Kids’ chocolaty milk mix powder.

The brand has created a natural supplement specifically for menopausal women. With 1 lakh customers, Earthful reports that 70-80% of its sales come directly from its website. Their products are also available on major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart. Earthful aims to redefine everyday nutrition by making it clean, effective, and accessible to everyone.

Recently, Earthful launched new flavors like Japanese Matcha and Coffee Mocha protein, all natural and free from additives and preservatives. They also introduced a Kids’ Milk Mix powder, made with millets, plant-based protein, calcium, Vitamin D3, and real cocoa.

In the past year, Earthful has grown three times, reaching over 1 lakh customers with a strong 40-50% repeat purchase rate. The company is now at a Rs 15 crore annual revenue run rate and plans to expand into offline retail to make its products more widely available across India.
