“A large part of cancer care delivery happens in the unorganised sector, which includes small nursing homes, small trust hospitals, and a few doctors’ clinics. So, our focus is to homogenise this fragmented market into a standardised level of care. Mergers and acquisitions, brownfield projects, and greenfield projects are the three different avenues through which we will continue to grow, just as we have done so far, "said, Ashish Joshi, cofounder of MOC.

“We will also use these funds to add a broader range of services. One key area is molecular oncology and precision oncology, which are integral parts of oncology today,” he said. “We will focus a lot on the preventive oncology aspect to help prevent cancer on a larger scale, as prevention is often an ignored topic in cancer care.”

Mayank Khanduja, Partner, Elevation Capital, said, “Their patient centricity really stood out to us at every single centre of the company. That combined with their unmatched clinical acumen is helping them deliver truly remarkable care to their patients. We are confident in the team’s ability to scale their services to more patients across India, while continuing to be the gold standard of cancer care in the country.”
