MedTech Startup MedVital Raises 8.4 Crores Pre-Seed Funding

MedVital, a new-age MedTech startup has raised 8.4 crore in pre-seed funding round led by Nihar Parikh’s 4point0 Health Ventures.

The round also saw participation from a marquee group of operator-investors, including founders of Tata 1mg, NephroPlus, SafeExpress, Eye Q Hospital, Hexa Health, and AstroTalk.

The fresh funds will help MedVital grow its range of products, improve its supply chain, and expand its distribution to include big hospitals, rural clinics, and home care.

"MedVital was founded on the belief that skin repair and restoration deserve the same level of innovation and investment as any other critical area of medicine," said Dr. Varun Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of MedVital.

MedVital is growing fast and will soon introduce liquid chitosan dressings for hard-to-heal wounds. It will also expand into skin and hair regeneration products, opening new treatment options for both health and beauty care.
