He also worked at Intuit in Bengaluru for over 10 years, heading engineering for products like QuickBooks and Demandforce. Earlier in his career, he worked with Trilogy and Sun Microsystems in the US before relocating to India.

He was hired after a seven-month gap following the exit of former CTO Vijay Aggarwal, who left in November 2022.

Earlier this year, BharatPe’s Chief Marketing Officer Parth Joshi also quit to start his own venture. Recently, Trillionloans Fintech, an NBFC linked to BharatPe, appointed Sandeep Singh as its new CEO.

BharatPe became EBITDA profitable in October 2024. By March 2025, India Ratings and Research reported that the company had a net loss of ₹149 Cr but broke even on an adjusted EBITDA basis in the first nine months of FY25. BharatPe says it is on track to end FY25 with full EBITDA profitability.
