Market intelligence firm Tijori Finance raises $5 million from Zerodha

Brokerage platform zerodha has invested $5 million (about ₹45 crore) in market intelligence startup Tijori Finance, Tijori cofounder Siddharth Hegde said.

The company did not reveal how much ownership Zerodha will have after the investment.

The investment comes after the companies partnered to integrate Tijori’s research widgets into Zerodha’s Kite trading platform, giving users deeper insights into stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and indices.

The funds will mainly be used to develop the “Tijori stack,” the company’s set of AI-based research tools for analysts and serious equity researchers. Tijori also plans to use the new capital to expand into enterprise products.

“I think, down the road on the Tijori stack, we may have about eight to 10 products in the next six months. Around 60-70% of that will be enterprise-focussed, because retail traders can’t afford the price points,” Tijori cofounder Siddharth Hegde said.

“The whole goal of Tijori was: there is information from exchanges, there is information from filings with industry bodies, and there are specialised vendors. Can we get our hands on all that, clean it up, and offer it in a systematic way?” Hegde said.

The platform currently has around 15,000 paying users.

Hegde added that Indian exchanges publish nearly 4,000 regulatory filings every day — far too many for most analysts or investors to track manually. As its data grew, Tijori shifted its focus to AI-based tools to speed up the research process.

Founded by Hegde, Tejas Goenka, and Varun Marda, Tijori describes itself as a data intelligence platform that offers more than standard financial databases. It blends structured financial data with unstructured information such as annual reports, investor presentations, management commentary, and operational metrics to give users a deeper understanding of companies.

Tijori has already launched Tijori Alerts, which uses AI to quickly summarise exchange filings and send personalised updates on WhatsApp. It has also introduced Concall Monitor, which creates earnings call transcripts, summaries, and recordings within minutes after the call ends.
