HR tech firm Vahan.ai secures funding from Temasek’s LemmaTree, acquires L.earn

Vahan.ai, a blue-collar recruitment platform has announced a strategic investment from LemmaTree, an investment firm founded by Temasek.

Alongside this transaction, Vahan.ai has also acquired L.earn, the digital learning and upskilling platform of GoodWorker which was backed by LemmaTree.

The funds will mainly be used to strengthen Vahan.ai’s proprietary tech stack, focusing on building advanced AI features for large-scale, multilingual recruitment.

The company did not reveal the amount raised or confirm if it’s part of a larger Series B round. Founder and CEO Madhav Krishna said the funding will go toward boosting the platform’s AI and multilingual features with the goal of increasing monthly job placements from 40,000 to over 100,000.

Vahan says that acquiring L.earn adds a strong skilling component to its platform. L.earn offers mobile-first, vernacular content designed for gig and frontline workers in industries like logistics, manufacturing and retail.

By integrating these modular skilling programs into the job search process, Vahan aims to help workers boost their employability, secure better-paying jobs, and build long-term careers.
