Furniture Rental Platform Rentomojo Kicks Off IPO Preparations

Bengaluru-based furniture and appliance rental startup Rentomojo has appointed IIFL and Motilal Oswal as bankers for its IPO planned next year, according to sources.

The company aims to launch its IPO in FY27, with Rentomojo reporting its fourth consecutive profitable year in FY25, according to a source.

Rentomojo is estimated to have posted a net profit of ₹40 crore in FY25, up from ₹22.1 crore in FY24, with operating revenue likely at ₹260–270 crore, reflecting about 40% growth. The FY25 financials have not yet been filed with the Registrar of Companies.

Operationally, Rentomojo’s omnichannel business improved profitability, posting an EBITDA of ₹92 crore in FY25, up from ₹66 crore in FY24 and ₹27 crore in FY23. 

According to tracxn, major shareholders include Accel (21.5%), Chiratae Ventures (13.8%), Edelweiss Asset Management (10.8%), and founder-CEO Geetansh Bamania (13.6%).
