Experiential tech company Tagbin raises $10 million funding

Gurugram-based Tagbin, an experiential technology company, has secured $10 million in funding from the SageOne Flagship Growth OE Fund, veteran stock market investor Ramesh Damani, Jyotivardhan Sonthalia, Sanjay Kaul, and the Kurl-on group.

The company plans to use the new funds to expand its AI offerings and prepare for an initial public offering (IPO) in 2027.

The new funds will be used to expand in domestic and international markets, strengthen AI and creative technology divisions, and support plans for a public listing.

Founded in 2013 by IIT graduates Saurav Bhaik and Ankit Sinha, Tagbin creates large digital installations, such as interactive museums and public exhibitions, and develops AI platforms for government departments to manage data and improve decision-making.

CEO Bhaik said Tagbin crossed ₹100 crore in revenue last year, with about 60% from creative technology projects and 40% from AI-based work. “We are targeting over Rs 200 crore in revenue this year, and have already achieved about 70% of that.”

“Museums and experience centres are typically big-ticket, one-time projects, sometimes worth Rs 30-100 crore. While AI deployments include annual licensing and maintenance fees, which adds to the revenues over time,” Bhaik explained.

Bhaik said Tagbin collaborated with NITI Aayog to develop an AI-based decision-making model that helps policymakers analyze large datasets across ministries.

The platform is being used by several state governments, including Bihar, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, for policy planning and insights. Tagbin currently has 25 active projects with government departments and small and medium enterprises.

One major challenge Tagbin addresses with its AI solutions is data fragmentation, Bhaik added.
