About BonV Aero
Founded in 2021 by Satyabrata Satapathy, Abinash Sahoo, Rahul Kumar, Gaurav Achha and Sultan Alam, the Odisha-based BonV Aero makes electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to improve aerial mobility for logistics.
The startup says its drones can carry up to 35 kg and fly as high as 13,800 ft. These vehicles have a 5 km range and can fly on their own, so a certified copilot isn’t needed. The Indian Army also uses BonV Aero’s eVTOL aircraft for high-altitude logistics.
The startup also offers different pods that can be attached to its vehicles for various uses, like transporting supplies, ammunition or for casualty evacuation.
