Deep-tech robotics startup Armatrix has raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by pi Ventures, with support from Inuka Capital, Boundless Ventures, Boost VC, Turbostart, and returning investor gradCapital.
The company will use the funds to finish building its special snake-like flexible robotic arm technology. It also plans to grow its engineering and R&D team and start pilot projects with industrial customers.

"Our mission is to move from a reactive, high cost maintenance model to a proactive, zero downtime standard, creating a paradigm shift in industrial inspection and maintenance. This funding enables us to scale from proof of concept to early adopters and validate the platform across real world inspection and operational use cases, said Vishrant Dave, co founder and CEO of Armatrix Automations.
Founded in 2024 by Vishrant Dave, Prateesh Awasthi, and Ayush Ranjan, Armatrix builds snake-like robotic arms that are highly flexible. These robots are specially designed to work in dangerous and tight industrial spaces where it can be risky for humans.
The Bengaluru-based startup wants to automate work in industries such as shipbuilding, nuclear, oil and gas, and aviation. In these sectors, workers often have to enter small and hazardous spaces to inspect and repair things like storage tanks, fuel tanks, ship hulls, and reactors. Armatrix aims to make these tasks safer by using robots instead of people.
Armatrix plans to grow into a globally competitive deep-tech robotics company in the coming years.
The company wants to build AI-native, high-performance robotic systems that improve safety, precision, and efficiency in important industrial operations where reliability is critical.
