Student mobility startup ZeroMoblt raises ₹1.5 crore pre-seed round

Student mobility startup ZeroMoblt has raised ₹1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The round was co-led by JioMart CEO Sandeep Varaganti, Ashok Agrawal, and a group of wealthy investors.

ZeroMoblt will use the money to speed up the development of its AI-based technology.

The startup also plans to expand its operations and strengthen its infrastructure roadmap to support future growth.

Vijay Ganagam, CEO and Co-Founder of ZeroMobIt, said, “Student mobility has remained structurally unchanged for decades. We are building an AI-native, compliance-first infrastructure layer that aligns safety, scalability, and ecosystem trust. This funding allows us to accelerate toward building infrastructure that cities and institutions can rely on.”

Founded in April 2024 by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus, ZeroMoblt offers a platform that helps students travel safely and easily. It brings together transport, safety, tracking, discovery and subscription services in one place.

The startup plans to expand to major educational cities in India and is developing AI tools to optimize routes and automate compliance.

The company says it has partnered with more than 15 schools and colleges and follows a student travel model that focuses on safety and rules compliance. So far, it has completed 340,000 student trips across 147 areas in Hyderabad and is now adding more institutions in the city.
