Luxury skincare brand RAS Luxury Skincare has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures. 

The round also saw particiation from Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund as a new investor. Existing investors, including Sixth Sense Ventures and notable angels like Keki Mistry’s family, also took part in this round.

Funding Utilisation

The company plans to use the funds to grow its retail network by opening more exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) and shop-in-shop formats. With two EBOs already operating, it aims to launch 50 more across India in the next three years.

The company will also invest in hiring talent, developing new products, boosting branding and marketing and improving technology, says founder and CEO Shubhika Jain.

Pawan Chaturvedi, partner and head - Asia at Unilever Ventures, said, “We believe that over the next 5-7 years, the premium beauty market in India will witness significant growth, and RAS, with its distinct value proposition, is well poised to capture this opportunity."

About RAS Luxury Skincare

The Raipur-based RAS Luxury Skincare was founded in 2017 by Sangeeta Jain and her two daughters Shubhika Jain and Suramya Jain, It is a skincare brand that offers plant-based, vegan, and non-toxic products like face serums, sunscreens, lipsticks, and body lotions

The company reported 140% annual growth, with over 50% of its revenue coming from its D2C channel. E-commerce and quick commerce platforms like Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, Tira, Blinkit, Zepto, and Myntra also contributed significantly.

After funding, the brand aims to generate 25% of its revenue from offline retail in the next four years and expects strong growth from the HORECA segment as well.
