Cloudsek Raises $19Mn In Funding Led By Tenacity Ventures, Others

Cybersecurity startup Cloudsek has raised $19 million in a fresh funding round led by Tenacity Ventures and Commvault. 

The round also saw participation from Inflexor Ventures, MassMutual Ventures and Prana Ventures, along with some strategic investors.

The startup plans to use the fresh funds to improve its product, grow globally, and strengthen its presence in markets like the US, UAE and Asia Pacific.

“We built CloudSEK to predict initial attack vectors and stop threats before they make headlines—our goal has always been to prevent incidents before they escalate,” said Rahul Sasi, Co-founder and CEO of CloudSEK. “Unlike conventional threat intelligence, which often focuses on indicators of compromise after an attack, our platform identifies early warning signs—such as leaked credentials, exposed APIs, or compromised vendors—weeks before an incident occurs. That’s what we call predictive, not forensic, intelligence."

“Today, over 60% of our new revenue comes from international markets, with the U.S. emerging as our fastest-growing region. We’ve achieved this scale while remaining cash flow positive. This latest round, supported by leading financial and strategic investors, reinforces what we’ve believed from the beginning: cybersecurity must be proactive, not reactive," Sasi added.
