Climate Tech Startup Ecozen Raises $23 Mn Debt Funding

Climate-focused deep tech startup Ecozen has raised over $23 million in debt funding from a group of prominent investors, including responsAbility Investments AG, Northern Arc Capital Limited, Maanaveeya Development & Finance Private Limited and others. 

The startup plans to use the funds to grow its current business and strengthen its focus on sustainable technologies.

Devendra Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Ecozen, said, "This funding reaffirms the confidence our partners have in Ecozen's ability to drive impactful change through innovation. About Ecozon

Pune-based Ecozen was founded in 2010 by Devendra Gupta, Prateek Singhal and Vivek Pandey, it provides climate-smart tech solutions and key technologies like motor controls, IoT and solar-powered energy storage. Its main products are Ecotron and Ecofrost.

The company says it has made over 300,000 Ecotron solar pump controllers, with 100,000 units produced in the last year. These solutions have helped reduce more than 2 million metric tons of greenhouse gases (GHG), including 660,000 metric tons in 2024 alone.
