Chiratae Ventures marks second close of Fund V at $150 Mn

Venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures, has announced the second close of its fifth fund at $150 million, with the final close expected in Q1 2026.

The new fund will enable Chiratae to invest in early-stage startups across AI, deeptech, healthtech, spacetech, and other emerging sectors.

The firm has begun deploying capital from its fifth fund, investing in proptech startup HouseEazy, AI SaaS startup Pepsales, wealthtech startup Mili, and quick-commerce startup ZILO, with six more investments currently in the pipeline.

Chiratae stated that its fifth fund is supported by domestic and international limited partners, institutional investors, family offices, and existing backers from prior funds.

Fund V is led by Managing Directors Venkatesh Peddi and Ranjith Menon, who will oversee investments across Chiratae’s core focus sectors.
