Kitchenware brand P-Tal (Punjab Thathera Art Legacy), has raised $3 million in a funding round led by VC Grid and zerodha founder Nithin Kamath’s Rainmatter.
The round also saw participation from US-based Connecticut Innovations, Anicut Capital, Zeropearl VC, and other angel investors.

The startup plans to use the funds to scale up its international market and strengthen its R&D to develop new products. P-Tal is currently active in India and the US. It now aims to strengthen its presence in the US while expanding into Europe, the UK, and the Middle East.
“As a brand, we modernise these products and also work closely with 110 artisan families to figure out how we can help them scale their production’’, Agrawal.
About P-Tal
Founded in 2019 by Agrawal, Kirti Goel and Gaurav Garg, P-Tal offers copper, brass, and bronze products—including cookware, tableware, dinnerware, and daily essentials—starting at ₹1,500, crafted by artisans from Chandigarh and Moradabad.
Its products are sold via its D2C website, ecommerce and quick-commerce platforms, and two offline stores in India.
In 2023, Shark Tank India-backed P-Tal raised around $550,000 in a round led by Titan Capital.
