About Biokraft Foods
Founded in 2023 by Kamalnayan Tibrewal, Biokraft Foods is working to change how meat is made and eaten by creating India’s first sustainable, slaughter free cultivated meat using advanced 3D bioprinting.
It promises the same taste and feel as regular meat, making it a big step in the alt-protein space.
Backed by incubators like iCREATE, SPTBI and ICT-NICE, the startup uses a hybrid model that blends cultivated meat with safe ingredients to make it more affordable, scalable, and closer in texture to traditional meat.
With over 400 successful consumer trials, Biokraft aims to be the first to bring cultivated meat to market in India.
