Cookware brand Ember raises $3.2 million in seed round

Ember, a cookware brand has raised $3.2 million in seed funding round from HNIs, family offices and existing investors.

The round also saw participation from Yogabar co-founder Suhasini Sampath and chef-entrepreneur Saransh Goila.

The company plans to use the investment to boost R&D, expand manufacturing, and grow its presence in the Indian market.

“One is that we want to focus on our core R&D, because for us, the whole company is built around defensible technology. The second area of interest for us is growth, which means growth across new product categories as well as new distribution formats,” cofounder, Himanshi Tandon said.

About Ember 

Founded in 2024 by Siddharth Gadodia and Himanshi Tandon, the Bengaluru-based Ember provides eco-friendly, toxin-free cookware with its unique 'Arcilla' coating made from natural ingredients.

Following the funding, Goila has joined Ember as a partner and will head its innovation lab, focusing on creating solutions for Indian kitchens.

"India's kitchens deserve better, but the gap is clear. The only way to bridge it is by designing the kitchen of the future, a huge opportunity to transform how the country cooks," said Goila.

Ember’s cookware, designed in California with Box Clever and made in Italy, combines global quality with durability for Indian homes. 

Currently, 60% of sales come directly to consumers, with the rest via e-commerce platforms like Amazon. The brand aims to reach Rs 30 crore ARR within 12 months of launch.
