B2B AI firm Gupshup raises $60M from Globespan and EvolutionX Debt Capital

gupshup, a conversational AI platform, has raised over $60 million in a mix of equity and debt financing from Globespan Capital Partners and EvolutionX Debt Capital. 

The company plans to use the funds to expand into markets like India, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, and boost its go-to-market strategy.

Founded in 2004 by Beerud Sheth, Gupshup is a conversational AI messaging platform that helps businesses connect and engage with customers. It works with over 50,000 companies—like IDFC Bank, flipkart, and Swiggy—across 130 countries and handles more than 120 billion messages every year.

Its tools include AI chat agents, click-to-chat ads, campaign copilots, and agent assist features. These help businesses deliver personalised customer experiences across channels like WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, voice, web, and mobile.
