Atomic Capital Closes Maiden Fund of Rs 400 Crore for Consumer Startups

Atomic Capital plans to invest in 10-12 startups with this fund, the VC firm added. The fund had its first close at INR 155 Cr in 2024.

Atomic Capital Closes Maiden Fund of Rs 400 Crore for Consumer Startups

Early and growth-stage VC firm Atomic Capital has announced the final close of its maiden fund at Rs 400 Cr.

The fund will support Pre-Series A and Series A startups in consumer tech and consumer-enabler sectors. The average initial investment will be Rs 10-30 Cr, with additional funding reserved for follow-on rounds, the firm said.

Atomic Capital plans to invest in 10-12 startups with this fund, the VC firm added. The fund had its first close at INR 155 Cr in 2024.

The maiden fund will focus on sectors such as food & beverages, nutraceuticals, personal care & beauty, jewellery, apparel & footwear, pet care, travel & accessories, electronics accessories, home furnishing, logistics, financial services, ecommerce SaaS, omnichannel infrastructure and manufacturing.

“Over the next 2–3 years, we plan to deploy both initial and follow-on capital, aligned with our overall fund timeline of eight years. We are currently evaluating over 20 companies and have already issued a term sheet for our fifth investment,” said Atomic Capital founding and managing partner Apoorv Gautam.
