About Cherrapunji Craft Gin

Founded in 2023 by Mayukh Hazarika from Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. Cherrapunji, the rainiest place on earth, holds the world record for the highest yearly rainfall. This purified rainwater, combined with North East Indian botanicals, is used to make Cherrapunji Gin.

The company says its bottles, made from military-grade stainless steel, help reduce the gin's carbon footprint and serve as reusable containers.

In 2024, The Gin Guide readers named Cherrapunji Gin the 'Gin Bottle of the Year.'

Since its launch, the gin has earned 13 global awards and gained strong international recognition.
