AI services startup Aivar raises $4.6 million in seed round

Aivar, an AI services startup, has secured $4.6 million in a seed funding round led by Sorin Investments with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners.

The startup will use the funds to grow its presence in India, the US, and the Middle East and to invest in AI tools, senior hires and global delivery operations.

According to the startup, the funding will help it scale at a time when demand for AI is growing fast, but the ability to deliver is limited. Aivar plans to use the money to expand into global markets, hire senior talent, further develop its AI tools, and strengthen its sales, partnerships, and customer success teams.

“We did not raise capital because we needed it to survive. We raised it because the pace of enterprise demand is increasing faster than what a bootstrapped model can responsibly support. The risk today is not failure, it is missing the window where enterprisesare ready to move from pilots to production,” says Kousik Rajendran, Co-Founder and CEO of Aivar Innovations.

“Our studio- and accelerator-driven approach combines the best of services and software, delivering outcomes in weeks that traditionally took months. This funding allows us to scale this AI-native model globally while continuing to build the specialised AI and cloud talent that makes sustained client success possible,” he adds.

About Aivar

Founded in 2024 by former AWS executives Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar says it works with over 80 customers including startups and large enterprises, helping them move AI projects from testing to real-world use.

The company operates as a full-service AI studio, offering strategy advice, custom AI development and ongoing AI operations.

It has built its own AI tools, including Convogent AI for multilingual chat and voice solutions, Velogent AI for automating complex, regulated workflows, and Kubogent AI for running AI systems on Kubernetes infrastructure.

Aivar aims to close gaps in enterprise AI adoption through custom engineering and its in-house accelerators. For example, a logistics SaaS company used Velogent to automate contract and invoice processes, with the first rollout completed in just 6–8 weeks.
