Agritech startup Fambo has raised Rs 21 crore ($2.5 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by EV2 Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Rajesh Sawhney, founder and CEO of GSF Accelerator and several Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs).
The startup plans to use the new funds to expand Fambo’s operations across India, start an export division, invest in technology and grow its network of partner farms.

“We’ve achieved less than 1% waste by effectively matching demand and supply and implementing tech-enabled agricultural practices, helping partner farms increase yield and reduce waste, thereby boosting their income,” said Sudarshan Satle, cofounder and chief operating officer of Fambo.
Fambo made a revenue of Rs 18 crore in 2024 and became profitable in Q3 of FY 2024-25. The company is also planning research and development with Indian and international universities to create new food categories and reach more customers.

The Noida-based Fambo was founded in 2022 by Akshay Tripathi and Sudarshan Satle, It is a platform that connects farmers directly with quick service restaurants (QSRs), hotels and cloud kitchens to sell fresh produce, reducing waste and ensuring quality.
Its AI-powered platform helps restaurants manage supplies, buy ingredients and ensure a reliable supply chain with traceability.
The startup says it serves over 500 QSR chains and cloud kitchens, including big brands like Burger King, McDonald’s, California Burrito, Burger Singh, Farzi Café and Barbeque Nation.
