[Funding alert] FlashAid Secures $2.5 Mn pre-Series A Funding Led by Piper Serica Angel Fund, SOSV

In a pre-Series A financing round led by SOSV and Piper Serica Angel Fund, Flashaid secured $2.5 million. ZNL Growth Fund and Z21 Ventures Fund, two early-stage investors, took part in this round.

The business intends to grow and enter six new cities with the help of the additional funding, as reported by ET.

“With an expected 30% surge in digital platform adoption by 2030, a significant opportunity emerges to align the ecosystem towards providing scalable solutions that promote health equity in India. We’re actively embracing this digital evolution through our API-centric strategy, which resonates with the shifting behaviors of customers in the process of purchasing and accessing healthcare services,” Gunjali Kothari, cofounder at Flashaid, said.

To help digital India afford and have access to medical coverage, Flashaid is developing an API-first health plan.
