The plant-based protein company Evolved Foods announced the completion of its seed round and received funding totaling Rs 7.30 crore.
Famous investors Kamala Capital and Rainmatter Health, who are supported by Zerodha, led the round, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

The investment round also saw participation from notable individuals such as Anvitha Prashanth (Anyaa Ventures), Aprameya Radhakrishna (Founder of KOO App), and a group of angel investors, including Rachel Goenka & Karan Khetarpal (Goenka Ventures Family Office), B G Mahesh (Founder/ex-MD of OneIndia.com), Sushant Arora (Cofounder of CleanMax Solar), Swapnil Shah (ex-Brand head, Proctor & Gamble), and Vananam Ventures Trust.
Evolved Foods solved India's protein deficiency. Evolved Plant Meat, made from soy, coconut, and rice protein, is a delicious, sustainable alternative to animal protein.

Curefoods, GOPIZZA, Shangri-La, Go Native, Royal Orchid, Toscano, and Trippy Goat are among the restaurants, QSRs, delivery kitchens, and star hotels in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities that serve Evolved Foods' plant-based dishes.
