[Funding alert] EarKart Raises Fresh Funding round led by Agility Ventures

EarKart, a company that specializes in hearing aid technology, has received an unspecified amount of funding from Agility Ventures and other investors such as Blume Ventures. Ashneer Grover, the former CEO of BhartPe, is the company's primary angel investor.

Misra and Priyadarshi Jha founded the company in 2021 to address the needs of the hearing-impaired population in India, which is estimated to be around 98.5 million people. Shockingly, over 60 percent of this population doesn't have access to audiological services, making it challenging for them to receive the essential assistance they require. EarKart aims to bridge this gap by providing affordable and accessible hearing aid technology, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

EarKart, which is based in Noida, aims to overcome this gap by providing affordable access to state-of-the-art hearing aid technology. It has achieved this goal by establishing the largest all-brand hearing clinic network in India, consisting of over 1250 facilities.

The company has made it possible for both hearing aid dispensers and patients to have access to products from global manufacturers. They have accomplished this by developing a unique technology that combines medical device diagnostics with remote computing. This innovation has led to the creation of the world's first remote diagnosis and remote programming audiology model, for which they have applied for a patent.
