Drive Fitt Appoints Preity Zinta and Shubman Gill as Co-founders

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and Indian cricketer Shubman Gill have joined as co-founders of member-based gym facility DRIVE FITT to empower the Indian fitness market.

DRIVE FITT is a cricket training facility that combines advanced bowling equipment in the nets, yoga studios, thorough strength and conditioning training, and gym amenities. They are planning to open their main facility later this year.

DRIVE FITT offers a variety of membership choices, including as monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annual, and family subscriptions, as well as a daily pass. The cost of a day pass is approximately Rs1,000, while monthly subscriptions begin at Rs 7,000 and yearly memberships can go up to Rs 35,000. Family memberships will be offered to two adults and either one or two children.

DRIVE FITT has hired Nikhil Kakkar, the former Chief Operating Officer of Gold’s Gym, to serve as its Chief Operating Officer. Kakkar, with a 16-year tenure at Gold’s Gym, will lead the company’s operations and franchising endeavors. Gill, together with Australian cricketers Chris Lynn and Ryan Harris, would be responsible for creating the brand’s products.

Founded by Mark Sellar and Deke Smith, DRIVE FITT intends to inaugurate its flagship facility later this year, which will integrate cricket training facilities that include high-tech bowling equipment in the nets, yoga studios, and comprehensive strength, conditioning, and cardio training with gym amenities.
