In Amazon Global Selling’s Propel Startup Accelerator Season 4, select Made in India brands will get a shot at funding from VC partners, receive dedicated support to launch internationally, and stand to win total rewards worth over $1.5 million.

Up to 50 businesses will receive support during the fourth season, and participants will have the opportunity to win $1.5 million in awards, including free six-month logistics, AWS Activate credits, and account management assistance. Additionally, the top three winners will receive awards totaling $100,000.

The programme attempts to enable Indian consumer products firms to go global. The program will select up to 50 qualifying startups for the cohort.

As part of this programme, Amazon will also offer mentorship to emerging firms through a panel of Amazon executives, venture capital partners, and senior industry experts, along with seminars and customised tools. This includes one-on-one mentoring relationships and workshops focused on comprehending and navigating patterns of global demand as well as gaining knowledge on how to develop profitable export enterprises through e-commerce.

Bhupen Wakankar, Director of Global Trade at Amazon India, said, “Season 4 is bigger and better with an expanded range of benefits and support to help up to 50 startups from India launch in global markets this year. This programme is a key part of our commitment to enable $20 billion in ecommerce exports from India by 2025.”

Amazon Global Selling’s Propel Startup Accelerator—a program that has already helped over 70 Indian startups launch globally—is inviting the next generation of D2C brands.
