Wavicle Technologies Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates LimeChat, an AI based chatbot startup has raised $4.2 million in seed funding round from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners with participation from Pi Ventures, Titan Capital and marquee angel investors.

The startup plans to use the funds to strengthen its product and expand its operations in the market.

The Bengaluru-based startup was founded in 2020 by Aniket Bajpai and Nikhil Gupta, It harnesses the power of human-scale AI chatbots to create the most compelling user experiences to deliver impact for D2C brands and consumers alike.

“Our growing client base stands testimony to the impact we have been able to generate for businesses. As we continue to build a category-defining SaaS (software-as-a-service) company for global e-commerce brands, with Stellaris’ track record in building global SaaS leaders and defining growth stories of leading D2C brands,” said, Nikhil Gupta, Co-Founder of LimeChat.

The platform allows brands to increase campaign conversions by up to 3x, reduce support workload by up to 70%, and improve customer satisfaction.

“D2C as a category has witnessed explosive growth in the last few years. Pairing this with the opportunity that WhatsApp poses for brands to leverage as a commercial channel can create exceptional customer experiences,” said Alok Goyal, Partner, Stellaris Venture Partners.

The startup also claims that over 1 million conversations are automated for 150+ leading brands.

In the last 6 months, the startup has claimed 3x growth and has expanded its customer base to over 125 brands in India and across the globe.

These brands include Mamaearth, Rage Coffee, MCaffeine, Wow Skin Science, Kapiva among others.
