Actor Ranveer Singh of Bollywood has joined consumer electronics company boAt as an investor. Singh has made an undisclosed investment in the audio and wearable brand.
According to boAt, Ranveer Singh’s funding shows that he believes in the brand’s mission and will accelerate its global and Indian expansion.
Singh is a valuable strategic asset for boAt because of his entrepreneurial zeal and in-depth knowledge of Gen Z and millennial music preferences, as reported by ETRetail.
“Ranveer’s infectious energy and passion for music resonate perfectly with boAt’s core values,” said Aman Gupta, co-founder, and CMO, of boAt.
In addition to being the top audio brand in India, boAt is currently the second-largest wearable brand in the world (IDC Q3 2022). After seven years, boAt is now an essential component of discussions about culture among a wide range of audiences, including the younger generation, lifestyle influencers, audiophiles, and many more.
Driven by a fiery passion for music and an instinct for invention, boAt was founded by Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta to provide its community with more than simply a product.
