As per Bounce Infinity, the collaboration will utilise Bounce's vast production skills and global reach to bolster Zapp's objective of providing high-quality, eco-friendly mobility solutions. As per Zapp's requirements, Bounce Infinity will offer contract manufacturing services.

Additionally, Bounce Infinity will help Zapp EV get the licences required to homologate its goods for sale in India. Through contract manufacturing partnerships, Zapp's asset-light and capital-efficient business strategy is projected to offer adequate capacity to increase production without requiring large capital investments in a timely manner.

Recently, Bounce Infinity, which is expanding its battery swap network and has over 70 dealerships throughout India, signed an order with SUN Mobility for 30,000 scooters. In order to increase its reach, the company is also finalising deals with significant last-mile delivery, fast commerce, and food delivery businesses.

Swin Chatsuwan, Founder and CEO of Zapp EV, said: “Bounce’s manufacturing expertise and market presence in India is expected to accelerate Zapp’s commercial rollout in key urban areas. India is already one of the largest markets for two-wheelers, and the share of electric vehicles is forecast to reach 45% by 2030. The design attributes of the i300 make it an excellent solution for personal mobility with India’s growing purchasing power and urban densification.”

Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO and Co-founder of Bounce Infinity, said: “By combining our manufacturing strengths with Zapp’s innovative product lineup, we aim to make India a two-wheeler manufacturing hub for the entire world.”
