Yubi Appoints Anil Mehta as Independent Director

Anil Mehta, a seasoned veteran of the financial services industry, has joined the board of digital lending startup Yubi (previously CredAvenue) as an independent director.

Anil Mehta previously held executive positions at American Express, Bank of America, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ Banking Group), and Max Life Insurance Company Limited. In 2010, he established India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd. (ISFC).

Yubi hopes to create an accountable and transparent debt ecosystem with Mehta’s appointment.

Yubi Group asserts that it is the only IT business in the world capable of powering an entire debt cycle. Every step of the lending cycle is facilitated by the company, including the transfer of funds from lenders to borrowers and back again.
