YES Bank Sumit Bali Appoints as Country Head- Retail Assets & Debt Management

YES Bank, a prominent Indian company in the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors, has appointed Sumit Bali as its new Country Head of Retail Assets and Debt Management. Bali previously held the position of Group Executive Retail Lending at Axis Bank for more than four years.

He will be accountable for the growth and profitability of the company's retail assets, rural assets, and debt management businesses in his new position at YES Bank. He will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance the brand's assets business, ensuring that management and governance practices are implemented throughout the organization.

Before joining Axis Bank in 2020, Bali served as the Chief Executive Officer of IIFL (India Infoline Group) from July 2018 to June 2020.

Bali has previously collaborated with Kotak Mahindra Bank and has over thirty years of experience in Retail Lending and Collections. He entered the company as Executive Vice President in October 2006 and was subsequently promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer in July 2020.
