The Indian whiskey company Woodsmen Mountain Whiskey, owned by Ginglani Distillers, raised Rs 12.5 crore in a Series A funding round headed by Finfirst Group and Anthill Ventures, both based in Ahmedabad.
In addition, Nikhil Vora (Sixth Sense Ventures), Baymore Ventures, Claris Capital, Shantanu Deshpande (Bombay Shaving Co.), and Chaitanya Rathi (Ex-Sula Vineyards) participated in the round. Nitin Kaushal and Chakradhar Gade, the founders of Country Delight, increased their investments.

About 10% of the core team of Ginglani Distillers, which consists of Joseph Jacob (formerly of AB InBev), Sunil Thakur (formerly of Paul John), and Harpreet Bali (formerly of DS Group), also participated in the round.
Ginglani Distillers intends to use this money to improve its distribution in current markets and enter new ones.construction and innovations in new products. Additionally, the company has begun developing its line of single malts.
